When traveling with your pet on a bicycle, you must check if the Pet Trailer is properly installed and in good condition. If the weight of your pet exceeds the recommended weight limit, this could damage or break the Pet Trailer. It is imperative that you make sure that your pet(s) are under the recommended weight limit, in order to keep them safe. The last thing you want is for your pet to topple over during their relaxing ride!
The most important thing is to pay attention to your speed. You should not exceed 10 mph and should decrease your speed considerably when turning; we recommend under 5 mph while turning to avoid flipping. We do not advise making sharp or quick turns when traveling with a bicycle pet trailer!
